A quality remanufactured unit, BUT

beware... the picture indicates a pulley is included (pictured). It is NOT.Otherwise I would have to give this unit a 5 star... but, THEN AGAIN, it has only been installed on a 1991 300E Mercedes less than two weeks... too early to determine the durability of the unit.

Extang BlackMax Tonneau Covers have a solid black bold appearance. These covers have an exclusive all-climate engineered design that is 4-way fully adjustable for cold weather. The stud has to be set low for tight fit in hot weather. Slide the stud off, flip it over and slide it on again to set the stud high for looser fit in cold weather. The tonneau covers feature new LeverLock attachment. When the lever is pulled back, the tail rail unlocks and quickly disengages for bulk hauling. LeverLock securely stays in place and will not vibrate loose. TuffKlamps allows two bow heights. High bow height facilitates maximum water shedding in harsh conditions and improved gas mileage. Low bow height provides sporty good looks and cold weather tonneau attachment.

Nice addition to my F-250

I recently received my Extang Tonneau cover and installed it. One thing..no directions in the box. I did find directions online on the Extang website. While installing even with the directions there is some confusion about the way things are marked. I have a long bed and they provided 4 clamps per side..but when I installed the cross bars the markings didn't coincide with the locations that fit. Once installed the cover serves its purpose, it covers the bed and side rails of the truck. Getting the bed cover on the first time is a pain, but doable. It looks good on the truck and protects the bed from the elements. If it had come with better direction I would have given it a five! Took about an hour by myself to install with no additional tools necessary.
