Walker 15817 Direct Fit Catalytic Converter

My old catalytic converter had its substrate broken off inside of it and was rattling terribly when I took ownership of my '99 Park Avenue Ultra. At the recommendation of my muffler shop mechanic, who said Walker's generally have more metal to work with, I purchased this one. According to the mechanic, it went on with no issues whatsoever; even the hole for the oxygen sensor was correct in size and replacement. He also recommended getting TWO of the flange gaskets for this converter, Walker Part# 31587, because the flange on the car's exhaust manifold often has a rough surface after de-welding, and two gaskets give a better fit. For a heck of a lot less than the OEM replacement, I couldn't be happier with the results. And now I can hear my engine's exhaust note without any rattling!
